Rohit Negi

Rohit Negi is Assistant Professor of Human Ecology at Ambedkar University, Delhi. He has a PhD in Geography (Ohio State) and MA in Urban Planning (Illinois), and his research and teaching interests are at the intersections of capitalism, urbanism and ecology with a regional specialization in Southern Africa and South Asia. His writings have appeared in journals like Geoforum, Journal of Southern African Studies and Review of African Political Economy, and in popular publications like Himal Southasian, The Hindu, and The Tribune. Negi is the co-editor of an upcoming volume entitled ‘Space, Planning and Everyday Contestations in Delhi’, published by Springer.
