Non Arkaraprasertkul is PhD Candidate in Anthropology at Harvard University. His research interests lie at the crossroads of transdiscliplinary research between architecture and the social sciences. He was also a Fulbright Scholar and Asian Cultural Council Fellow (2005–2007), visiting lecturer in architecture and urban design at MIT (2007–2008), Harvard-Yenching Doctoral Scholar (2008–2011), adjunct professor in modern Chinese history at Lesley University (2012), Distinguished (Visiting) Gibbons Professor of Architecture at the University of South Florida (2012–2013), Global Postdoctoral Fellow at New York University Shanghai (2014 - 2015), and Chinese Scholarship Council (CSC) Visiting Scholar as well as Fellow at the International Center for Studies of Chinese Civilization, Fudan University, Shanghai (2013 – present). Non has master’s degrees in architecture and urban design from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, in Modern Chinese Studies from the University of Oxford, and in social anthropology from Harvard.
