Chen Techun


Graduated from Graduate Institute of Building and Planning, National Taiwan University in 2002, Te-Chun has been devoted to community planning and urban regeneration in Taipei inner city district. She collaborates with grassroots organizations, and promotes small-scale, bottom-up re-design and regeneration projects in the community with government funding. In 2012, she completed the first young community planners training camp in Taiwan and was later involved in an “URS” (Urban Regeneration Station) to create a different experience and platform of heritage and old district regeneration. In 2014, Te-chun works with the Organization of Urban Re-s (OURs) to start up Taiwan Housing Movement 2.0 to aim at housing as social right, and that people should see through the real estate structure, not to be enslaved by it so that urban and environment democracy may really happen.
